• Sir Peter Crill, former Bailiff of Jersey, dies at age of 81. (BBC)

• Sean Carr, 36, biker and lead singer of little-known Leeds heavy metal group Death Valley Screamers marries 25 year old Yevgenia Tymoshenko, daughter of former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko. Carr has moved his Harley-Davidson to Kyiv, where he is living with his wife and mother-in-law. (Independent), (BBC)
