From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Battleship USS Arizona Memorial. Taken from a ConSubPac (Commander, Submarines, Pacific) web site* no longer available, this image not found on the current ConSubPac site.
In the background is Ford Island. The bollards to which battleships were tied, forming Battleship Row, are still maintained and marked with the numbers and names of the ships here on that day.
The memorial is accessed by boats from the visitor's center across the harbor (to the left in the image) where visitors view a short movie that sets the historical context for this site.
