The Original Wolverines was a revival of the famous band the Wolverine Orchestra. They added the "Original" to differentiate themselves from Husk O'Hare's Wolverines, a band that Jimmy McPartland had also been a member of in the pervious year of 1926. The sessions starting after May 24th of 1928 appear to have been a different band that had no relation to the Wolverine Orchestra. |
