Citizens Asked To Keep Eyes On Garbage Trucks

In response to complaints from residents and businesses in the Quarter about garbage trucks leaking foul liquids onto the streets, Sanitation Dept. head Lynn Wiltz researched the subject and found that the leakage is due to overloading the trucks. All garbage trucks working in the Quarter have been informed that they will be cited for leakage, and Capt. Dabdoub will make officers available to follow up on violations.

Our job as citizens is to watch out for any leakage, write down the garbage company and truck number along with the date, time and location, and then call/e-mail Capt. Dabdoub.
