Now You Can File a Police Report Online!

The NOPD has announced that its website, www.nopd.com, now features "Online Services," whereby you can file certain types of reports and get e-mail responses. There are two categories: "Incident Report" and "Report a Problem." Incident reports may be filed for lost or vandalized property, but not vehicles, and only if there is no suspect information to be given (if you have suspect info, you need to call 821-2222). Problems that may be reported are quality-of-life issues, suspicious behavior, ongoing criminal activity and requests for more patrols.
