la Madeleine Bakery, Café & Bistro, with its popular French country cuisine, will open a new location at Market Street in The Woodlands outside of Houston, Texas on Tuesday, November 9.

Located in Market Street at the corner of Six Pines Drive and Lake Robbins Drive, the new la Madeleine will feature the bakery’s traditional breakfast, lunch and dinner favorites along with a new concept – a separate Barista Coffee Bar and Café Lounge. 

Here, guests can unwind with specialty coffees including Café Caramel Frappe, Hot Chocolat au Mint, and French Vanilla Latté.  Other traditional French coffees also will be served.  The Barista area also will feature wines and a “cafe-lounge” area specially designed for guests to enjoy and linger in the country café atmosphere unique to la Madeleine.

“The new la Madeleine is the product of several years of intense planning to create the best experience for our guests,” says the company’s chairman, Jean-Roch Vachon.  “We’re looking forward to bringing our new concept to The Woodlands.”

Besides its new Barista Coffee Bar and Café Lounge, the la Madeleine in The Woodlands will present new, heartier bistro-style entrees including a new Tomato Basil Pasta with choice of seafood or chicken, new Seafood au Puff Pastry and new Filet of Sole from their lighter la Cuisine Vitale menu.  la Madeleine’s menu will continue to present signature items such as Caesar Salade, Tomato Basil Soupe and Rosemary Rotisserie Chicken.  At breakfast, diners can choose from custom omelettes, quiche and pastries.
