Starts at 1:00 P.M. The public is invited to attend and celebrate with memories and refreshments. 100 Grandiflora Magnolia trees will be given away.

Long Beach Mardi Gras Parade
Jeff Davis Avenue

Starts at 2:00 P.M. The parade will start from the Long Beach High School Stadium and roll down Cleveland Avenue to Railroad Street, where it will turn west on Railroad Street and then South on Jeff Davis Avenue.   It will turn east on Fifth Street and then north again on Cleveland Avenue and back to the Stadium.   Parking is not allowed on Jeff Davis Avenue.

A Visit to Old Long Beach
Senior Citizens Center
Starts at 2:00 P.M. and ends at 4:00 P.M. Come on over to the Senior Citizen Center for a discussion about the mural on the wall remembering the Old Town Long Beach. Refreshments will be serves. Hosted by the Long Beach Historical Society.

History of Churches featuring Church Choirs
Harrison County Civic Center
Starts at 5:00 P.M. Come out and hear the history and music of the various Long Beach Churces. A break, courtesy of Domino's Pizza will start around 6:00 P.M. and again at the conclusion of the program. Churches participating are: Antioch Baptist Church, Divine Grace, Baptist Mission, Christ United Methodist Church, Church of Good Shepard, First Baptist Church, First United Methodist Church, Gates Ave. Fellowship Baptist, Grace Lutheran Church, Long Beach Presbyterian Church, Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, St. Patrick's Episcopal Church, and St. Thomas Catholic Church. Churches will sign in when they arrive and will participate in the order of signing in. Check with your church for an appropriate time.
