QUICK ACTION SAVES WOMAN
Martha Hice of Ralls became dizzy and fell to the floor while ordering lunch at McDonald's at Post.  Employees, Carol Crenshaw and Sara Garcia came to her aid.  Both ambulances from Post was busy and Slaton EMS was called.  During the wait 35 minute wait, Danny and Cindy Guthrie of Golden Plains Care Center in Post was called and along with Garcia, a former nurse's aid, provided Hice with nitroglycerin and aspirin.  Slaton EMS arrived to transport her to Covenant Hospital in Lubbock.  "I sure do appreciate the good people at McDonald's" said Hice.
