Timeline

The Honey Bee Factory was located on US 441, just south of Fort Myers. It was open in the mid-eighties. It didn't really manufacture honey bees, of course. It did process honey, made by bees living here in a sort of ant farm for bees -- a clear sided hive through which the various bee activities could be seen. There was also a gift shop selling the end product, honey.
