At the age of 14 some of my family, myself included, fled to San Francisco from Morgantown WV. The year was 1968. When we arrived with no car, our feet were our transportation. Eventually we started using the bus system known as MUNI.
When I left San Fran in 1972 I was to return on and off over the years. Now, nearly 40 years later, it has turned into an annual pilgrimage.
