Active collaborations
In order to improve the quality of articles which are short or lacking in detail, Wikipedia's community take part in collaborations to expand articles.
Collaboration of the week
Help edit Oil reserves, Wikipedia's current collaboration of the week! Please help to bring it up to featured article standard.
Oil reserves is a restricted term that is often contrasted with oil in place. STOOIP, meaning "Stock Tank Original Oil In Place", represents all of the liquid hydrocarbon contained in a reservoir. Reserves are the portion of the STOOIP that are recoverable under economic constraints. Oil in the ground is not a reserve unless it is economically recoverable, and the recovery factor (RF) is the percentage of STOOIP which is economically recoverable under a given set of conditions.

Article Improvement Drive
Improve Bill Gates, the present incumbent at the Article Improvement Drive. The Article Improvement Drive works on a non-stub article that needs a lot of help before reaching featured-article standard.
William Henry Gates III (born October 28, 1955), commonly known as Bill Gates, is the co-founder, chairman and chief software architect of Microsoft Corporation, the largest software company in the world. According to Forbes magazine, Gates is the wealthiest person in the world with a net worth in 2005 of approximately 46.5 billion US dollars [1]. Since amassing his fortune, Gates has pursued a number of philanthropic endeavors, donating billions to various charitable organizations and scientific research programs with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation charity founded in 2000.
