Can you imaging the IRS, GAO, DEA or the SSA putting out a plea for volunteers because they were so under funded and under staffed they could not get their job done?
To add insult to injury the NPS charges a fee to use facilities already paid for by you, the taxpayer. Can we some day look forward to paying for tours of the White House or the Museums of the Smithsonian? Don't laugh! a fee demonstation project may be coming your way.
Perhaps the IRS will soon be charging you to process your tax forms. Who knows what is next...
