C.W. POST HOME. Home built by Mr. Post. Located on Main Street, 4 blocks
West of the court house.

OLD POST SANITARIUM. First hospital on the Plains.
Located at 107 North Avenue N. Now the Garza County Historical Museum.

POSTEX MILL. Original mill built in 1912 by Mr. Post. Mill presently
employs 500 people; tours are available. Located in the SE part of town on Mill
Road.

13. HONORING C.W. POST. Recognizing C.W. Post, town

14. *OVERLOOK PARK. Marker dedicated to rain-making
efforts of Me. Post in early days. Located at the top of caprock, North no Hwy 84.

EAST ON HIGHWAY 380
15. TERRACE CEMETERY. Gate to cemetery constructed out
of unique round rocks, in 1908. One mile East on Hwy 380.
16. VERBENA CHURCH. Where early services and
camp meetings were held, around 1902. Go East on Hwy 380 for 11 miles, then North 5
miles on Hwy 2008.
WEST ON HIGHWAY 380
17. FIRST DRY LAND FARMING. Location of
first farming in new Post City community. Marker located at Close City Community
Building, 8 miles West on Hwy 380, then 2 miles North.
22. OLD CLOSE CITY SCHOOL.
27. OLD GRAHAM CHAPEL SCHOOL. Seven miles West and 2 miles
South.
SOUTH ON HIGHWAY 84
10. LLANO ESTACADO. This means
"staked plains". The marker explains where the name came from.
Located 9 miles South on Hwy 84.
11. O.S. RANCH. Garza County organized at O.S. Ranch
Headquarters in 1907. Marker located 9 miles South on Hwy 84.
12. FIRST PRODUCING OIL WELL. The J.M. Boren
#1, completed in 1926 for 27 barrels per day. Marker located 15 miles South on Hwy
84.
SOUTH ON HIGHWAY 669
18. OLD LLANO RANCH. One of the first ranches in
area. First birth and death recorded here. South on Hwy 669 two miles and turn
right at entrance to Boy Scout Camp Post.
19. GARZA POINT. Archeological excavations where
distinctive new type of arrowhead was found. Marker located 16 miles South on Hwy
669.
