HISTORY:
Founded in 1913 in a the new town of Post. Mrs. John B. (Belle) Slaughter was determined to provide a cultural climate, to educate and promote civic interest for pioneer women   Gloves and hats were required and monthly programs concluded with critiques of grammar, manners, and composition of participants.

Became a member of the Federation of Women's Clubs in 1914,  Represented by the Caprock District
of Texas Federation of Women's Clubs.
