Brett is demonstrating a device he has made. |
He says it shouldn't damage the little bastard, but it will give him a little "incentive". |
Ash shows everyone a tracking device he has built, he says it triggers on "micro changes in air density". Once you are within a certain distance, it will give off a signal. |

Dallas divides the remaining crew into two groups. |
| Ripley, Parker and Brett begin searching. |
| They soon detect movement. |
| Ripley narrows it down to a locker. |
| Brett briefly catches the feline, but lets it go again saying "It was just the cat". |
| The others explain to Brett that the cat will probably cause false readings on the motion detector again. Ripley sends Brett off to find the cat. |
| He searches for a while...... |
| He searches high and low. |
| Then comes across a discarded skin from the alien. |
| He cools himself in a trickle of water from above. |
| Then finds Jones. |
| "Here kitty kitty kitty". |
| Jones is about to come to Brett, but the hisses and retreats, He sees something he doesn't like. |
| Brett can't see what's behind him. |
| Until he turns around. |
| The alien has grown, Brett is frozen to the spot. |
| And carries the crewmember up. |
| Jones watches helplessly. |
