Parker is clearly distressed and states that whatever took Brett is big! |
The captain asks if they are sure it took him into the air shafts. |
"Disappeared into one of the cooling ducts" Ripley states. |
Dallas has an idea..... |
| The air shafts lead up to and go into the main airlock. If the crew could drive the alien into the airlock somehow, they could "zap it into outer space". |
| Lambert asks "Who gets to go into the vent?" |
| Ripley volunteers, but Dallas makes it clear that he is the one that gets to crawl through the dark passages of the ventilation system. |
| But the answers don't help much. |
| He has one final question. |
| He knows he wont get an answer to this question, but asks it anyway. |
| Dallas wonders if he is going to come through this alive. |
| Parker and Lambert keep an eye on the maintenance opening. |
| Dallas is in the vent. |
| He instructs Ripley to close all the hatches behind him and continues on in the dark. |
| Soon Lambert sees a second blip on the tracker and tells Dallas the alien is somewhere around the third junction. |
| He gets moving to a position where he can drive the creature to the airlock. |
| Lambert loses Dallas's signal and tells him to hold his position a moment. |
| He finds a substance that is not produced by a part of the ship, It must be from the alien, it has been here. |
| He's had enough now and wants to get out, he asks which way to go. |
| Lambert sees the second blip moving right towards Dallas. |
| He goes down the ladder. |
| Looks to the right..... |
| Ripley calls Dallas but gets no response. They know what happened. |
