Holidays and observances
- The Christmas holiday is celebrated on this day. It is a national holiday in many countries including the United States, Canada, most European Nations, New Zealand and Australia. It celebrates the nativity of Christianity's icon, Jesus, as well as secular aspects which include the decoration of Christmas trees, and the exchanging of gifts. It is celebrated by many non-Christians (including atheists) that celebrate the holiday focusing only on secular aspects.
