Grace Elizabeth King (1852-1932) was an American author of Louisiana stories, history, and biography, and a leader in historical and literary activities.

Born in New Orleans into an aristocratic family that had been impoverished by the American Civil War, she found her living in writing; among her subjects were other women who had been put in the same situation.

She is buried in the Roman Catholic Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans.

In her honor "Grace King High School" is located on "Grace King Place" in Metairie, Louisiana.
