MTV Networks is the corporate division of media conglomerate Viacom that oversees the operation of the following TV network brands:

The company was established after Viacom's 1986 purchase of Nickelodeon, MTV, VH1, Showtime, and The Movie Channel and all other assets of Warner-Amex Satellite Entertainment from Warner Communications.
