Muhammad Deif

Muhammed Deif (born 1960) is a Hamas military commander in Gaza, it is thought that he succeded Yahya Ayyash. Israel holds him personally reponsible for directing suicide bombings since 1996. There have been many unsuccessful attempts on his life and he currently remains among one of Israel's most wanted men. On August 27, 2005 he released a video taunting Israel.[1]
