The photo on this page is not a good representation of Cafe du Monde, as it is taken at an angle that really shows a walkway leading up to the restaurant in the foreground, and the bulk of the photo is the building across the street from the cafe. We may want to update this with a photo of the cafe itself taken from across the street.SpikeJones 21:02, 8 August 2005 (UTC)

Post-Katrina Aftermath
"It is open 24 hours, 7 days a week, except for Christmas Day (and days when "the occasional hurricane passes too close to New Orleans," according to the shop's Web site), and is patronized by both locals and visitors."
Terrible irony post Hurricane Katrina. Is the Cafe still there? :(
