Hi. I'm Jim. I'm 26; I live in St. Louis, Missouri in the U.S.; I'm a professional geek; I edit Wikipedia articles during lulls at work, and sometimes at home too.

I also post under this username on Café Utne, where I'm a volunteer host in a couple forums.

Alternately, you can sometimes find my inane blatherings on my blog, though I don't always keep that current.

On July 14, 2005, I became an admin on the English Wikipedia. I am not sure when I had my "milestone" edits (1000th, etc.), but Kate's tool shows how many I have now.

I do quite a bit of vandal patrolling on year and date articles, where newbies often test the wiki by adding their own birthday/anniversary/whatever. Please consider adding one or more such articles to your watchlist; just be gentle when reverting unless they're being a true pain about things.

If you're diligent and patient, you can probably find more dirt on me and stitch the rest together. Good luck!
