U.S Highway 54

United States Highway 54 is an east-west United States highway that runs northeast-southwest for 1,197 miles (1,926 km) from western Illinois to El Paso, Texas.

Termini

As of 2004, the highway's eastern terminus is Griggsville, Illinois at Interstate 72. Its western terminus is El Paso, Texas at the U.S.-Mexico border. Until the 1970s it reached Chicago before it was truncated in favor of U.S. Highway 36, Illinois State Highway 54, and Interstate 57.
