WPXL

WPXL is the local i Network (formerly PAX) affiliate in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is owned and operated by Flinn Broadcasting Corporation. It broadcasts its analog signal on UHF channel 49, and its digital signal on UHF channel 50.
WPXL is presently simulcasting New Orleans NBC affiliate WDSU (channel 6/43), whose transmitter building in Chalmette, Louisiana was flooded out during the Hurricane Katrina disaster. The station has also added the signals for local Tribune stations WGNO (Channel 26, ABC) and WNOL (Channel 38, WB) to their digital muticasting channels for those in the New Orleans area that can receive HDTV signals.
