I've gotten lazy about taking pictures. Mike likes to take them and his usually come out better than mine so I've tended to slack off. But during our visit to Longwood and Jenkins there were pictures all around me just begging to be taken, so how could I resist?
I've tried to include here some pictures that are different from Mike's, some that spoke to me and also a few that he actually gets to be in for a change! And here they are ...

Ready to head out for a day of exploring at Longwood Gardens.
It was hard to stop snapping pictures!
I found the fountain display to be quite impressive, especially when paired with Ravel's Bolero.
The Paulownia trees in full bloom made a stunning background.
The stately Italian Garden was a nice contrast to some of the more colorful displays.
One of several bonsai in the Longwood Conservatory. Bonsai always make me feel there should be tiny people walking around under them.
I loved the composition and color of this planting.
The next few photos are of Jenkins Arboretum. The cool mist lent an ethereal quality to our walk.
I had a feeling I had stumbled into the pages of The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett.
We hated to say goobye to this magical place.
And that wraps up our 40th Anniversary celebration.
See you next time...
